Traveler Tote

Perfect for teaching, travel, overnight bag, and more! Very happy with my purchase!

This is my first teacher tote and I am liking it so far. I do wish the base (bottom) was wider. When both sides are full of curriculum/laptop it’s really hard to fit anything else in it, like my lunch. If I put my lunch in the cooler I don’t have room for my laptop and the curriculum I bring home with me. My laptop doesn’t fit in the laptop pocket so that is also a bummer.

I like the cup holders and that they are nice and deep. I like all the pockets on the inside too. It seems like a sturdy bag and I hope it lasts a long time. (The bag I’m retiring lasted 10 years!!)

While I am not using the tote personally, I purchased a Teacher’s tote as a Christmas gift during their Black Friday sale. The USPS lost the package. I know it was no fault to them and they kept me updated along the way. They also sent a new one as soon as the claim was processed.

What I enjoy about the travel teacher tote is its sturdiness and flexibility. The strap does not get tangled and feels durable instead of flimsy. It has a comfortable grip when I wear it over my shoulder, and it can hold a significant amount of weight. One suggestion I have is that if the handles of the bag could be detachable, it would allow me to focus on using the strap instead of having to push down the handles. However, it’s still 10 out of 10 in my book.

I have used all types of bags as a teacher, but I received this one as a gift and it beats them all. I love the many compartments and pockets, and the insulated pouch for snack items. The only drawback was that I have a difficult time getting my 16' laptop into the laptop compartment. Once I get it in, it fits fine, but the opening is small and a tight squeeze to get it in initially.
